How To… | Check Sanctions on the UniLincoln App
There are two possible types of sanctions that can be imposed on your account: Visa and Debtor.
Below are the details about what these sanctions mean, why they have been imposed, their effects on your day-to-day activities, and what you need to do to lift them:
Visa Sanction
There are issues with your visa. It could be because you have not shown proof that you have left the UK, have valid immigration permission or something else. Until this is resolved you will not be able to access Blackboard, the Library, and some other buildings. Please contact studentvisa@lincoln.ac.uk for support.
Debtor Sanction
Due to unpaid tuition fees, you will not be able to access Blackboard, the Library, and some other buildings. To restore access, you need to pay the overdue fees in full. You can make the payment by visiting the “How to Pay” page, emailing payments@lincoln.ac.uk, or calling 01522 803120 (Monday to Friday, 10am-3pm). If you need support, contact the Student Support Team at studentsupport@lincoln.ac.uk. After making the payment, please email payments@lincoln.ac.uk or call 01522 803120 to lift the sanction.
You can check if these sanctions have been imposed on your account through the UniLincoln App. You can view them just below your Digital ID card on the Profile page, which can be accessed by clicking on your profile picture button in the top right corner of the app.
